Los Angeles World Airports Tom Bradley International Terminal

Los Angeles World Airports Tom Bradley International Terminal

The new Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX is nearly a half mile long and utilized more than 10,000 custom LA Fawn Metallic Alucobond panels incorporated into the EV-A.50 Guttered and Gasketed DRY system. The complex design of the waved roofs meant many of the panels had to be both curved and twisted to realize the desired look. The goal was accomplished successfully through constant coordination with the builders and design team, state-of-the-art 3D modeling, intricate fabrication drawings, and specialty shop techniques.
