LAX Hilton Porte Cochere

The design team at Houston/Tyner Architects worked for over 6 months designing the sculptural design of the Porte Cochere’s front facade, inviting Elward Systems Corp to join the project in a design-assist role. Elward Systems utilized AutoCAD 3-D software and CNC routing to bring the architects’ vision for this ACM sculptural facade design to life. Perimeter LED lighting of the 3D ACM soffit pendants of the hotel drive-thru create a cloud-like feel thanks to the Spectra Gold finish. And the LED lighting integrated within the ACM panel joints create a unique “Lightning Bolt” facade feature for the Century Blvd entry to LAX.
